What This Role Is All About
We're not looking for someone who simply fills open positions. We're looking for a strategic hiring partner who takes pride in building great teams, recognizes exceptional talent, and understands that the right people are the foundation of a successful company.
You will be the one who helps shape who joins our company next — and that matters a lot.
What You will Be Doing

- Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates in a competitive skilled-trades labor market.
- Proactively source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, trade schools, industry associations, and community networking.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates, including passive candidates who may be interested in future opportunities.
- Review resumes, conduct phone screenings and interviews, coordinate additional interviews, perform reference checks, and facilitate employment offers.
- Partner with company leadership to identify staffing needs, anticipate future hiring demands, and develop workforce hiring plans.
- Write and manage compelling job advertisements that accurately reflect AirTech's culture, expectations, and career opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with HVAC trade schools, technical colleges, industry organizations, and local talent networks.
- Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and other opportunities to promote AirTech as an employer of choice.
- Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, recruiting costs, and hiring effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure timely, professional communication throughout the hiring process.
Human Resources & Employee Support
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including new-hire paperwork, employment eligibility verification, orientation, and required documentation.
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and related administrative functions.
- Support the administration of company policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
- Assist management with employee relations matters, performance documentation, corrective actions, and employee concerns.
- Track and coordinate employee performance reviews, probationary evaluations, and other personnel milestones.
- Assist with employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives that promote a positive and productive workplace.
- Serve as a professional, approachable resource for employees and management regarding routine HR questions and processes.
What You Bring
