Recruiters Recruiting Recruiters is a job board for recruiting and talent acquisition professionals. You can browse and search without an account. This page says what we collect, why, and how to change or stop it.

When you apply to a job

Before sending you to the employer's site, we ask for your name and email address and record which job you applied to and when. We keep this so we know who the board has helped and can show you your own activity. Your application itself happens on the employer's site, under their privacy terms; we don't see what you submit there.

When you sign up for job alerts

We store your email address, how often you want alerts, and what they should cover. Nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link. Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can manage your alerts at your activity page. We record which alerts we sent and which links in them were clicked.

When you visit

  • A first-party cookie, rrr_vid, holds a random ID for one year so we can count returning visitors. If you later apply or confirm your email, your earlier activity on this browser is connected to you.
  • We record pages viewed, searches, and clicks, along with your IP address, browser details and the site you came from.
  • If you report a job, we keep your reason and any note you add, along with that random ID.
  • Google Analytics also measures visits, under Google's terms, and can connect visits across a small number of related sites. Google sets its own cookies for this.

How we use it

  • To run the board and send the alerts you asked for.
  • To understand how the board is used and keep it working and secure.
  • To produce internal reports on the recruiting job market, including activity connected to specific roles.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who else is involved

Service providers handle our hosting, data storage and email delivery on our behalf, and Google provides analytics. If you use the “Know someone at…” links on a job page, that search runs on LinkedIn under your own account, and we only count the click.

How long we keep it

  • IP addresses and browser details on visits and applications are removed after 90 days. We keep a general device type, a partial network address and the referring site.
  • Activity records are otherwise kept, and daily totals are kept indefinitely.
  • Your name, email and application history are kept as the record of your relationship with the board.

Your choices

To see your activity or stop alerts, use your activity page or the unsubscribe link in any alert.
