Applications are being accepted for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist with the East Valley Institute of Technology located at 1601 West Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201.

Position Summary

Under limited supervision from the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for conducting recruitment activities to acquire high performing professional talent through a positive and engaging candidate experience. This role is responsible for designing and implementing recruitment strategies to fill open positions, by attracting qualified candidates, conducting screening interviews, administering assessments, while coaching and supporting hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process; this position is also responsible for processing new hire paperwork such as Form I-9, E-Verify+, and Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Job Type: Full-Time, 12 Month Calendar. Onsite, M-F 7:30-4:00 p.m.

Salary: $59,797 to $77,138 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, and job-related certification.

Minimum Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources/related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting/talent acquisition/staffing experience.
  • Understanding of HR concepts with emphasis on staffing on-boarding processes and interviewing techniques or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Talent Acquisition experience within an Arizona School District.
  • Knowledge of Arizona Department of Education requirements for teaching certifications.
  • Experience using Frontline Central and Frontline Recruiting/Hiring System.
  • Experience using Tyler School ER Pro (Visions) and the ePars.
  • SHRM, HRCI or related certification.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish.

Licensing/Certification and Other Requirements

  • Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) fingerprint card. Applicable Arizona Statutes pursuant to Title 15 (Education) and Title 13 (Criminal) and Title 38 (Public Officers and Employees) prevail.
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
