Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for working within the HR team to understand hiring needs and pursue qualified individuals for open roles. This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Talent Acquisition or HR Lead and routinely interacts internally, with Function Managers, Professional Staff, Craft Employees and Technical/Professional Advisors; externally, with clients and job candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle of Talent Acquisition globally for the business
  • Research, source (using referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
  • Support the interview and selection process, including partnering with local HR representatives in various offices
  • Assist with maintaining Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordination within the HR team during the onboarding process
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and TA functional performance
  • Manage workforce planning activities, including forecast histograms, and staffing plans
  • Attend and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Support broader HR initiatives as assigned
  • Human Resource knowledge to support best hiring practices such as EEOC and FLSA.
  • Strong communication, outstanding customer service, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

  • Typically, 3+ years of relevant HR experience
  • 2+ years in a Talent Acquisition role
  • BS in Business (HR Management) or equivalent certification/experience preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of the Engineering & Construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of Labor and Employment Laws for area of remit
  • Project site or construction craft HR experience preferred

  • May be temporarily assigned to Project Sites
