The Talent Acquisition Partner collaborates with department managers on a regular basis to outline hiring needs and attract, interview, and retain qualified talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process including, but not limited to, screening, interviewing, scheduling, administration, tracking of new hires, assisting in background checks, and facilitating onboarding, as needed. This position is responsible for researching and implementing effective recruitment strategies that will bring in diverse talent to our multi-state Distribution Centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute comprehensive targeted sourcing strategy via various methods (Internal Applicants, Tracking System, External Job Boards such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, School Professional Associations, Personal Networks, etc.)
  • Perform full cycle recruiting to meet the organizations operational needs including sourcing talent, evaluating candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers
  • Manage all candidate date and documentation in the applicant tracking system
  • Prepare and/ or review job requisitions, descriptions and posting to establish an understanding of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of successful candidates
  • Work with HR managers, hiring manager, and other key members to advance the talent acquisition activities for the company
  • Collaborate with HR and TA Team to develop strategies to improve employee retention
  • Act as a partner and consultant to your hiring managers, advising them from intake to close
  • Assist with hiring manager training and tools, orientation content, and communication plans for new hires and their managers in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Employee engagement
  • Communicate compensation, benefits, and job responsibilities and work environments to all potential job applicants, as well as deliver candidate declines with compassion and in a timely manner
  • Support new hire onboarding activities to strengthen new hire retention
  • Perform special projects related to recruiting, employment branding and the overall selection process as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; Batchelor’s in Business, Human Resources, or related fields; or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of full cycle in-house recruiting, and sourcing experience required, logistics industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with using sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed for recruiting preferred
  • Experience with high volume recruiting, interviewing, and project management a plus
  • Knowledge of state employment laws a plus
  • Proficiency in related business technology (Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other related databases, etc

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents

  • Must have excellent people management and time management skills and abilities
  • Solid interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all levels across functions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to spend prolonged periods at a desk and computer. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift, pull, and move up to 20 pounds.
