Cooper Machinery Services has been building and servicing the engines and compressors that move the world's energy since 1833. Our equipment runs in the field, 24/7, across 22,000+ units worldwide — and none of it runs without the right people on the shop floor, in the field, and on the production line.
We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner who gets that. Someone who can walk into a manufacturing facility, talk shop with a machinist or a field technician, and turn that understanding into hires that actually stick. This isn't a desk-bound, keyword-matching recruiting role — it's a seat at the table in a growing HR function, hiring the skilled tradespeople who keep Cooper legendary.
If you've spent your career recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, or field service — and you're ready to help shape how a 190-year-old company builds its workforce for the next chapter — we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Partner directly with hiring managers across manufacturing, shop, and field service teams to understand role requirements, workforce needs, and team dynamics.
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and hourly roles — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers from first contact to acceptance.
- Build real relationships with employees and leaders on the floor and in the field to stay connected to the work, the culture, and where talent needs are headed.
- Develop sourcing strategies that reach skilled tradespeople and technical talent through community outreach, job fairs, trade schools, and digital platforms.
- Write job postings that accurately reflect the work and attract candidates who are genuinely qualified — not just keyword matches.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged from application through onboarding, so every interaction reflects well on Cooper.
- Track recruiting activity, pipelines, and hiring metrics to inform workforce planning.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on onboarding, workforce development, and retention initiatives.
- Help shape recruiting process and tools as Cooper's HR function continues to grow.
