SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator ("Coordinador/a de Reclutamiento")supports the day-to-day recruitment process and helps create a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is people-oriented, organized, comfortable communicating by phone, and eager to learn and grow in Talent Acquisition. The position supports candidate sourcing, phone screening, interview coordination, job postings, recruitment events, and other recruiting activities across the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with hiring managers across all properties, learning their departments, staffing needs, and candidate preferences to effectively support recruitment efforts.
- Maintain current and accurate information regarding open positions, recruitment reports, departmental staffing needs, recruiting activity, and other Talent Acquisition tracking tools.
- Review applications and resumes to identify potential candidates for open positions.
- Learn to source candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, social media, employee referrals, community resources, and other recruiting channels.
- Contact candidates by phone, text, and email to discuss employment opportunities, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews.
- Welcome and assist walk-in applicants and candidates, answer questions regarding employment opportunities, and provide guidance through the application and interview process.
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive candidate experience from initial contact through the interview process.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication and follow-up with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Create and update job descriptions and job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards.
- Assist with recruitment communications, flyers, social media content, and other recruiting materials.
- Organize and participate in company hiring events, job fairs, school events, and community recruitment activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other recruiting partners to help build candidate pipelines.
- Collaborate with Human Resources team members across the properties to support recruiting activities, candidate communication, hiring needs, and a smooth transition through the recruitment and hiring process.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 6-12 months of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, customer service, retail, or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience with Canva or similar design platforms is a plus.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities, follow up consistently, and navigate successfully during periods of change.
- This position will be on-site but will require travel to other local company properties in the San Diego area at least once per week on average.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
