Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Senior Hourly Recruiter – Business Unit and Functions to join our Cummins Inc. team in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
- Drive timely hiring outcomes by recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for current and future workforce needs.
- Build strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies that attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to align recruiting activities with business priorities and workforce plans.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and efficient hiring processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and selection standards throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruiting data to provide insights and improve hiring effectiveness.
- Facilitate informed hiring decisions through objective candidate assessment, evaluation, and selection practices.
- Represent Cummins at recruiting events and external engagements to strengthen employer brand visibility and talent attraction efforts.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Preferred experience in high-volume recruiting environments with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to maintain candidate records, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Apply external talent sourcing strategies and market engagement techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and consulting capabilities to support hiring objectives.
- Leverage data analytics and reporting insights to measure recruiting effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Exhibit strong customer focus, interpersonal effectiveness, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the organization.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and recognize the value of diverse perspectives in building high-performing teams.
- May travel to recruiting events and career fairs to support talent attraction initiatives.
