Location: Fishers, Indiana (Office and Remote)
Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week; schedule may flex with applicant volume)
Pay: $22-$24/hour depending on experience
Position Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator - Caregiver Talent manages the day-to-day caregiver recruiting process, from application review and phone screening through interview coordination, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding handoff. This role builds a dependable pipeline, creates a responsive and respectful candidate experience, and identifies caregivers who align with our professional standards and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Recruiting & Candidate Management
- Post and maintain caregiver openings across approved recruiting channels
- Review applications and conduct phone screens to assess experience, availability, reliability, communication, service-area fit, and values alignment
- Recommend qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and keep candidates informed throughout the process
- Build and maintain a pipeline through referrals, community partners, training programs, recruiting events, and social media outreach
- Re-engage qualified past applicants as staffing needs arise
Hiring & Onboarding Coordination
- Extend approved conditional offers and guide candidates through pre-employment requirements
- Coordinate references, background checks, credentials, documentation, and orientation scheduling
- Follow up on incomplete requirements and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Partner with the President/Owner and care team to ensure a smooth transition to onboarding and scheduling
Recruiting Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate candidate activity and status in recruiting and scheduling systems
- Track applicant flow, response time, interviews, offers, hires, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness
- Provide concise pipeline updates and flag staffing gaps, bottlenecks, or candidate concerns
- Improve recruiting processes, tools, templates, and communications
Required Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, healthcare, home care, customer service, or another relationship-focused environment
- Experience coordinating pre-employment requirements and orientation
- Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport
- Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and urgency while managing multiple candidates and priorities
- Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and scheduling platforms
