SGA Design Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring high-quality candidates across the firm.
The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with strong candidate sourcing skills and experience identifying and engaging qualified professionals, including passive candidates. Experience working in a staffing agency, recruiting firm, or other sourcing-intensive environment is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Identify and engage passive candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future needs.
- Review applications, conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources.
- Prepare job postings and ensure open positions are effectively marketed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Represent the firm at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities.
- Stay informed about talent market conditions, recruiting trends, and effective sourcing practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent recruiting experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of professional recruiting experience required.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Staffing agency, recruiting/search firm, or similar high-volume sourcing experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success with proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools preferred.
- Experience recruiting within the architecture, engineering, design, or professional services industries is a plus.
