What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition approval through candidate selection, offer, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions, establish recruitment strategies, and identify qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, career fairs, schools, and other appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Review applications and resumes, conduct initial screening interviews, and assess candidates against established qualifications and position requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks, background checks, employment verification, and other pre-employment screening activities in accordance with Hospital policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and coordinate required pre-employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment records within the applicant tracking system and Human Resources information systems.
  • Monitor open positions and recruitment activity and provide regular status updates to hiring managers and Human Resources leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, professional organizations, community agencies, and other potential sources of qualified candidates.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, community recruitment activities, and other employer-branding initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill, specialized, and clinical positions.
  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, and organizational information.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable federal and state employment laws, regulations, and Hospital policies.
  • Assist with special Human Resources projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, Human Resources, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer processes.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and/or Human Resources information systems.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, employees, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR information/applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to use creative and effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative Human Resources team.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing staffing needs and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting within a healthcare, hospital, medical practice, or other regulated environment.
  • Experience recruiting for clinical, technical, administrative, and/or professional positions.
  • Experience developing community and educational institution recruitment partnerships.
