Recruitment & Hiring

  • Design and execute recruitment strategies; write/update compliant job descriptions and postings
  • Source candidates through professional networks, schools, agencies, and job fairs
  • Screen, evaluate, and interview candidates with hiring managers
  • Manage pre-employment checks (references, background, driving records, drug screens)
  • Coordinate onboarding, new hire paperwork, and orientations
  • Keep candidates, hiring managers, and HR Manager informed throughout the process

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure hiring and employment processes comply with company, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain affirmative action and EEO reporting
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and records
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll and benefits administration
  • Support workers' compensation program and recordkeeping

Employee Relations & Support

  • Assist HR Manager with employee relations issues, investigations, and special projects
  • Support Sr. HR Generalist on payroll, benefits, and compliance tasks
  • Serve as HR point-of-contact for all employees
  • Coordinate company-wide activities (meetings, training, holiday events)

General

  • Provide strong internal/external customer service
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

  • H.S. diploma or the equivalent
  • Related HR work experience in a fast-paced environment, or the equivalent in work and education

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities preferred

  • General knowledge of recruiting processes and interviewing techniques for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Knowledge of state/federal labor laws and equal employment/affirmative action laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google products
  • Directly-related recruiting, screening and interviewing experience
  • Knowledge of, or experience with:
  • - automated timekeeping systems
  • payroll and/or benefits administration
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
