Job Description: HR Recruiter

Company Overview: Established in California in 2013, Green Water and Power has rapidly grown to operate in over 25 states, positioning itself as a leader in the sustainable energy sector. Named the #1 electric vehicle (EV) installer in America, we take pride in having deployed more than 15,000 EV chargers and completed approximately 5 megawatts (MW) of solar energy projects.

As an EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) certified turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, we leverage our in-house expertise to efficiently manage and execute large-scale projects. Our dedication to sustainability and quality extends beyond project completion; we also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services to ensure optimal performance for the projects we develop, as well as for third-party installations.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to join our growing HR team. This position is ideal for a seasoned recruitment professional who thrives on finding top talent for senior-level, technical, and leadership roles within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of recruitment experience, including filling higher-level positions, along with a strong understanding of modern recruitment strategies, sourcing methods, and selection practices. This role will own the full-cycle recruitment process, partner closely with hiring managers and leadership, and help shape the strategies we use to attract and retain exceptional talent as we continue to expand nationwide.

  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and build effective hiring plans.
  • Advise leadership on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability to support informed hiring decisions.

  • Use a variety of sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals, industry associations, and passive candidate outreach.

  • Coordinate interview processes and maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare and extend offers, negotiate compensation packages, and manage background checks and pre-employment documentation.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Promote Green Water and Power as an employer of choice through job postings, social media, career fairs, and industry events.
  • Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience that reflects our company values.
  • Collaborate with HR on onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Metrics, Compliance & Reporting

  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and data within our applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO and pay transparency requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and methods; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing methods, and selection techniques, including passive candidate sourcing and Boolean search.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling hard-to-fill and senior-level roles.
  • Experience recruiting in construction, engineering, energy, or other technical industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite.
