St. Cloud, MN

Love recruiting, but want to do more than just recruiting?

If you enjoy finding great people, building relationships, and creating a great candidate and team member experience, this might be the opportunity for you.

As our HR Generalist, Recruiting Lead, you’ll lead recruiting across Scipi Companies while also getting hands-on experience throughout the employee lifecycle. You’ll partner with hiring managers, develop recruiting strategies, connect with candidates, support onboarding and training, and contribute to HR initiatives that make a difference for our team members.

This isn’t a role where you’ll just post jobs and wait for applications. You’ll help shape how we find, attract, hire, and welcome great people into our organization.

This position has a base salary range of $64,000 - $79,000 annually.

This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

What You’ll Do

  • Present and negotiate offers within established parameters and help create a positive candidate experience.
  • Represent Scipi Companies at job fairs, career events, schools, and community organizations.
  • Use recruiting data to identify opportunities to improve how we attract and hire talent.

Create a Great Start

  • Help create a smooth transition from candidate to team member by directing onboarding activities and coordinating new-hire requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate onboarding and training content through Scipi University and other learning platforms.
  • Support new-hire retention efforts and look for ways to continually improve the onboarding experience.

Be an HR Generalist, Too

  • Serve as a resource for managers and team members on hiring, onboarding, and company programs.
  • Support offboarding, exit interviews, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain job descriptions, hiring documentation, personnel records, and HRIS information.
  • Coordinate DOT pre-employment requirements, including drug testing, physicals, MVR reviews, and Clearinghouse requirements.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.

You’ll have a recruiting specialty without being put into a recruiting-only box.
