This is an hybrid position, on-site three days a week in our Federal Way, WA office.
Position Summary
The Division Director of Talent Acquisition serves as a business partner to devise strategy and sound operations for the division's recruiting program.
Provides leadership and management of division-wide recruitment efforts, including key and hard-to-fill positions, while establishing best practices for talent pipelining, candidate assessment, interviewing, and selection. Partners with facility and division leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with the division's strategic objectives and core values, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Reports to the Division Director of Human Resources (DDHR).:
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops the Talent Acquisition team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff; builds an engaged, high-performing culture, proactively addresses team challenges, and drives accountability, collaboration, and results in support of division workforce objectives
- Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent throughout the division
- Represents division, region, and/or facilities at recruitment functions (i.e., job fairs, open hours, health fairs)
- Provides recruitment advice and consultative guidance to hiring managers by developing talent acquisition strategies that meet hiring needs
- Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure performance and retention rates of new hires, assess satisfaction levels of hiring managers/candidates, and improves the hiring approach
- Promotes a culture of integrity, maintains an “open door” policy
- Assists with hiring and selection process for Executive Directors, Directors of Nursing, regional and division associates, and any other positions as necessary
- Actively coaches and assists with facility-based recruitment strategies (i.e., open houses, direct mailings, college recruitment, associate referral programs, advertising) to generate applicants
- Owns and improves the recruiting process and tools to drive higher conversion rates and a superior candidate experience
- Creates and implements plans to attract passive job seekers. Builds networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Trains facility teams on effective recruitment and selection techniques
- Assists facilities in maintaining staff levels to become or remain agency-free
- Must be willing and able to travel periodically

Education, Experience, and Licensure/Certifications
- Must have bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field from accredited college (or equivalent experience)
- Must have 5 or more years' experience progressive talent acquisition experience, including healthcare recruitment and leadership experience preferred
- SPHR/PHR or SHMR-SCP/SHRM-CP preferred
