Axis for Autism provides autism diagnostics and ABA therapy to families across metro Phoenix and Tucson. We’re hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition to run recruiting for every role we hire.
You’ll source and screen candidates yourself, set up and run our ATS, and plan our presence at conferences and community events, from the strategy down to the booth supplies. Part of each week is spent in our clinics, getting to know our hiring managers and what they need in a hire.
Responsibilities
- Recruit BCBAs through outreach, referrals, conferences and relationships
- Hire RBTs, psychometrists, psychologists and operations staff
- Run phone screens and partner with hiring managers through interviews and offers
- Build and manage our PayCor ATS: pipelines, source tracking and reporting
- Plan and staff recruiting events and conferences, including AZABA
- Work with Marketing on employer brand and clinician content
- Report weekly to the COO on pipeline, time-to-fill and 90-day retention
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building a recruiting function, including setting up an ATS
- A track record of filling hard-to-hire roles in a competitive market, such as healthcare or tech
- Full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing passive candidates
- Urgency, initiative and follow-through
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Based in Arizona or relocating, with reliable transportation for clinic travel
