About the Role
The Recruiting Coordinator will focus on identifying and sourcing qualified talent through job boards, recruitment platforms and candidate databases. This role will support candidate outreach, preliminary screening and recruitment coordination while helping build strong talent pipelines across the organization.
About the Role
- Source qualified candidates across various markets throughout Canada and the United States using job boards, professional networks, candidate databases, direct outreach and other sourcing methods
- Review and screen resumes to identify candidates whose skills and experience align with current opportunities
- Proactively identify and evaluate new sourcing channels, job boards, schools, professional networks and community resources to reach qualified and hard-to-find talent.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and preliminary screening to assess qualifications, interest and availability
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs across multiple markets
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support job postings and recruitment activities across sourcing platforms; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed is considered an asset
Position Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field an asset
- Previous experience in recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or a related coordination/administrative role considered an asset
- Previous experience screening resumes or conducting candidate prescreens considered an asset
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new recruitment systems and software
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS considered an asset
- Experience with online job boards and candidate sourcing platforms considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recruitment records
- Ability to work with and manage confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates and priorities simultaneously
- Previous experience within transportation, logistics or a high-volume recruitment environment considered an asset
