Opens a LinkedIn search of your own network. We never see your connections.

Be the bridge between someone in crisis and the help that changes everything.

Recovery often starts with one conversation. In this role, you are that conversation. You will meet people where they are, in emergency departments, courtrooms, jails, and community events, and connect them to treatment and peer recovery support that works.

If you know Southwest Indiana, believe in recovery, and thrive on the road rather than behind a desk, we want to hear from you.

Why CFS, Corp.?

  • Joint Commission-accredited, community-based behavioral health and recovery services
  • A mission-driven team that values lived experience and person-centered care
  • Real autonomy: you manage your own outreach schedule across three counties
  • Visible impact: you will see the people you connect walk through our doors

What You Will Do

  • Build the network. Develop referral relationships with hospitals, courts, probation, DCS, schools, EMS, and community providers.
  • Show up in the community. Represent CFS, Corp. at health fairs, coalition meetings, and partner sites, and present our services to professional and community audiences.
  • Open the door. Gather initial information in the field, secure required releases, and coordinate warm handoffs to our front desk, clinicians, and peer recovery coaches.
  • Keep people connected. Reach out to participants who have missed appointments and help solve barriers like transportation and childcare.
  • Measure what matters. Track referrals from first contact through enrollment and report results to leadership.

What You Bring

  • Two years of experience in outreach, referral coordination, intake, care coordination, or recovery support
  • Working knowledge of opioid use disorder, medication assisted treatment, and peer recovery services
  • Strong local knowledge of providers, criminal justice, and social services in Knox, Daviess, and Martin Counties
  • Confidence presenting to professionals and connecting with people in difficult moments
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in human services, social work, public health, or communications preferred
  • CAPRC I or II or Certified Recovery Specialist preferred; lived experience in recovery is valued

Requirements

  • Valid Indiana driver license, reliable transportation, and qualifying auto insurance
  • Successful criminal history, driving record, and registry checks
  • Availability for evening and weekend community events
  • Naloxone training within 30 days of hire; CPR and First Aid maintained

This position will require evening and weekend recruitment and outreach events. Candidates must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule based on the needs of the organization and events in the communities.
