Role summary

As a Senior Recruiter at Walmart, you will lead strategic talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers to develop data-driven hiring strategies aligned with business goals. This role involves leveraging market intelligence and analytics to optimize sourcing, interview design, and candidate evaluation processes. You will proactively identify risks, influence hiring decisions, and enhance candidate engagement to ensure timely and high-quality talent acquisition. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will drive operational excellence through continuous process improvements and effective use of recruiting technologies to support Walmart’s workforce planning and growth objectives.

About the team

Walmart Global Tech Talent Acquisition team drives strategic technology hiring across multiple U.S. locations for US Tech in engineering, data, product, and infrastructure. Acting as trusted advisors, the team collaborates with senior leaders on workforce planning, skill segmentation, and hiring velocity. Leveraging market intelligence, data insights, and structured assessments, they enhance hiring quality and build sustainable recruitment models. Managing complex, high volume technical recruitment, the team influences organizational design and business outcomes, fostering long-term capabilities that support Walmart’s innovation and growth objectives.

What you'll do

  • Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation competitiveness, and hiring timelines using market data and analytics.
  • Develop and execute role-level hiring strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning needs.
  • Design targeted sourcing approaches for specialized skill sets, leveraging market intelligence and competitor analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine interview frameworks and improve candidate evaluation consistency.
  • Monitor candidate experience metrics and implement engagement strategies to maintain interest throughout hiring cycles.
  • Negotiate offer packages balancing market data and internal equity to secure top talent.
  • Identify process improvements using recruiting data and collaborate on technology enhancements to increase efficiency.

What you'll bring

  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition strategy with the ability to align hiring plans to business goals and market conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret recruiting data, forecast hiring velocity, and identify pipeline risks.
  • Experience designing targeted sourcing strategies for specialized roles using market intelligence and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to develop structured interview frameworks and facilitate calibration to improve candidate evaluation consistency.
  • Skilled in negotiating competitive offers balancing market data and internal equity.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing recruiting teams.
  • Commitment to operational excellence through process improvement and technology adoption.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
