The Advisor provides academic advising, career guidance, and support services to prospective and enrolled undergraduate Public Health and Health Science students, helping them develop meaningful educational plans aligned with their career and life goals. The advisor assists with recruitment activities for the undergraduate Public Health and Health Sciences programs. The position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility, and effective public-speaking skills. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience in advising, mentorship, or public-facing customer service is required. A graduate degree in higher education, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
This position offers state health insurance and benefits, which includes a retirement plan with 6% matching, 10 hours of annual leave each month, 9.34 hours of sick leave each month, and 11 paid holidays.
