Position Summary

The Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for interviewing and referring qualified applicants for positions in specified departments and/or dedicated regions. The TAS will be responsible for assisting with recruiting, sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews. Individuals in this position are expected to have foundational recruitment skills. This job description outlines the scope of work and deliverables expected from a contractor or temporary worker. It is created solely for internal documentation and audit compliance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Source, screen and interview qualified candidates
  • Provide detailed information on company operations, structure, history, benefits and job responsibilities to qualified applicants
  • Correspond with all job applicants in a professional and timely manner and ensure that all applicants receive correspondence from TA informing them of their applicant status
  • Partner with leadership, recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Post job descriptions across job boards, social channels, and internal platforms
  • Screen resumes and may conduct initial candidate outreach to ensure timely communication
  • Schedule interviews and manage logistics for candidates and hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, or a similar people operations role.
  • Exposure to full life cycle recruiting preferred
  • Knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC and OFCCP strongly preferred
  • Works with speed and works well in fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and approachable demeanor
  • Experience using an ATS or HRIS (JobVite and Workday) preferred
  • Passionate about creating inclusive and positive employee and candidate experiences
