Mission Yogurt is looking for a proactive, people-focused Temporary Part-Time Recruiter to join our team and provide recruiting support during a high-volume hiring period as we get ready to open 3 new locations inside the Denver Airport.

This is an approximately 3-month temporary assignment designed to provide additional recruiting support until January 2027. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships with hiring managers, and keeping the recruiting process moving from application through hire.

In this role, you will work closely with our Recruiting and Operations teams to support staffing needs across multiple locations. You'll help identify and engage candidates, coordinate interviews, participate in recruiting events, and provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.

Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high-traffic airports, including Denver, San Diego, and John Wayne Airports. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, and full-service restaurants and bars.

What You'll Do

Recruiting & Candidate Engagement

  • Support recruiting strategies and initiatives across departments and locations.
  • Source and recruit candidates through direct recruiting, job boards, recruiting events, job fairs, and other appropriate channels.
  • Review, process, and track applications and candidate submissions.
  • Assist with creating, posting, and advertising open positions.
  • Conduct applicant screening interviews and help identify qualified candidates.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Help ensure open positions are actively managed and recruiting efforts remain focused on business needs.
  • Report on recruiting activity, results, and successful sourcing strategies.

Hiring Manager & Operations Support

  • Partner with Operations Managers and other leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and provide recruiting support throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist managers with recruiting-related questions, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to managers, associates, candidates, and other internal partners.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and support retention and turnover-reduction efforts.

Onboarding & Team Support

  • Coordinate and support new team member orientation.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and keep tasks moving forward.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Adaptability and the ability to respond professionally to changing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, professional, and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and exercise good judgment when handling non-routine situations.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • A strong understanding of recruiting practices and the ability to support managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, investigations, or training is a plus.

You'll be successful in this role if you're comfortable juggling multiple open positions, communicating with candidates and managers throughout the day, and jumping in wherever recruiting support is needed.

This is a hands-on recruiting role where your ability to build relationships, stay organized, follow through, and keep candidates moving through the process will make a direct impact on our hiring efforts.

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Part-time; approximately 20 hours per week
  • Location: Westminster, CO and Denver Airport
  • Pay: $26/hr.

This is a temporary assignment created to provide additional recruiting support during a high-volume hiring period. The assignment is expected to conclude in January 2027.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
