Microvast is seeking an exceptional Technical Recruiter to support hiring across engineering, manufacturing, energy storage, battery technology, electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, and other highly technical organizations. This role will partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to identify, attract, assess, and hire top technical talent supporting the development and production of next-generation battery and energy-storage technologies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven recruiter who understands how to identify and engage highly skilled technical professionals in competitive talent markets. You will manage multiple requisitions, build strong candidate pipelines, advise hiring managers on recruiting strategy, and deliver an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact recruiting environment where priorities can shift quickly. Success requires strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, sound judgment, and the ability to balance speed, quality, and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, offer support, and onboarding coordination.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified technical candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs using creative, proactive, and multi-channel sourcing strategies.
- Recruit across technical disciplines including engineering, battery technology, manufacturing, automation, electrical/mechanical engineering, software, controls, materials, quality, facilities, and other specialized technical functions.
- Identify and engage passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets.
- Partner with hiring managers to evaluate candidates against technical and behavioral requirements and provide market insights and recruiting recommendations.
- Manage multiple concurrent requisitions while maintaining accurate records, meeting hiring timelines, and providing consistent status updates to stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, HR partners, recruiters, candidates, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within the ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed recruiting systems.
- Support a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding.
- Stay current on recruiting best practices, sourcing strategies, labor-market trends, and tools that improve recruiting efficiency.
- Support recruiting and HR processes through ADP, including candidate, employee, or onboarding-related workflows as applicable.
- Support and act as a back- up to HR related tasks, including ADP record keeping, payroll and benefits management
- Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and support additional recruiting or HR initiatives as needed.
Experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting or technical sourcing experience in a corporate, manufacturing, engineering, technology, automotive, energy, or agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting engineers, technical specialists, skilled professionals, or other hard-to-fill roles.
- Experience recruiting within areas such as battery/energy storage, manufacturing, automation, electrical or mechanical engineering, software, controls, materials, quality, facilities, or related technical disciplines is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong sourcing capabilities with experience identifying and engaging both active and passive candidates.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP recruiter, Indeed, other job boards, sourcing platforms, and other recruiting technologies.
- ADP experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting recruiting, HR, onboarding, employee data, or related workflows.
- Strong understanding of technical recruiting processes and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to influence hiring managers and provide thoughtful guidance on candidate availability, compensation expectations, sourcing strategy, and hiring timelines.
- Ability to work with urgency, manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and a strong candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Experience recruiting within battery technology, energy storage, electric vehicles, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or clean technology.
- Experience supporting high-volume or rapidly scaling technical organizations.
- Experience with ADP Recruiting, ADP Workforce Now, or related ADP platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working in environments where recruiting priorities and organizational needs change rapidly.
- Familiarity with technical terminology and the ability to understand complex job requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
