The Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Recruitment to lead full-cycle recruitment activities for our pharmaceutical business. This role will be responsible for managing a team of recruiters, partnering with hiring managers, developing effective talent acquisition strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality candidates across commercial, scientific, manufacturing, regulatory, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, recruitment leadership experience, and a proven track record in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or related industries.
Key Accountabilities
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists to achieve hiring goals.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across pharmaceutical functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and hiring priorities.
- Conduct intake meetings and define candidate profiles, hiring timelines, and sourcing approaches.
- Monitor recruiter performance, workload distribution, and recruitment metrics.
- Drive direct sourcing through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and industry-specific channels.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent partners when required.
- Maintain data accuracy within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Analyze recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate, and source effectiveness.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through inclusive hiring practices.
- Stay informed about pharmaceutical industry talent trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company hiring policies.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience supporting clinical, R&D, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, quality, commercial, or medical affairs hiring.
- Knowledge of talent mapping and workforce planning.
- Recruitment certifications or HR certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
- RPO experience or agency highly preferred
- Background experience in Pharmaceutical
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- We are committed to pay transparency and fairness. For this role, the initial expected remuneration is 88k to 115k plus applicable benefits.
