The Talent Recruiting Specialist supports the full recruitment cycle for legal and business services roles. Working under the guidance of the Talent Recruiting team and hiring managers, this role focuses on coordinating recruitment activities, managing communications, and maintaining candidate records to ensure a smooth and timely hiring process.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Talent Recruiting, the role can be based in Boston, Philadelphia or Washington DC.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinate the posting of open positions to internal and external channels.
  • Participate in practice group hiring committee meetings, as needed.
  • Source candidates, review solicited and unsolicited resumes, and document/track all candidates through the recruiting process.
  • Conduct preliminary screening interviews for business services roles and present hiring managers with shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring teams; manage all interview logistics.
  • Prepare offer letters and related documentation for review by the Associate Director and Director or Talent Recruiting.
  • Maintain candidate tracking documents and adhere to file retention policy; maintain statistics on U.S. recruitment.
  • Help update recruiting materials and career-site content in partnership with Marketing.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with search firms, and work with search firms to advertise available positions.
  • Organize search overviews with headhunters and hiring managers as needed for specific roles.
  • Assist with fee agreement renewals, invoice reviews for search firms, and reimbursement of expenses related to hiring, under supervision.
  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks assigned by the Director or Associate Director of Talent.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department, office and firm.

Qualifications/ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (LawCruit or ViRecruit preferred) and MS Office
  • Must be able to effectively function in a fast-paced service environment and be a team player on an energetic recruiting team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically with professionals at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Display a positive, high-energy attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant recruitment experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
