About this position
LMCU is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders throughout the hiring process. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting while helping leaders make informed talent decisions through labor market insights, proactive sourcing strategies, talent pipeline development, and data-driven recruiting practices.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with leaders across retail and corporate departments to attract, select, and hire high-quality talent while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
What you’ll do
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and hiring priorities while providing labor market insights, candidate availability information, and talent acquisition best practices to support informed hiring decisions.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders at all levels, including executive leadership, providing guidance on talent strategy, candidate assessment, and hiring decisions.
- Build proactive talent pipelines by sourcing active and passive candidates through diverse recruiting channels, including networking, referrals, social media, community partnerships, and educational institutions.
- Conduct candidate screenings and assessments, facilitate efficient interview processes, provide candidate insights, and support timely hiring decisions.
- Use Workday, recruiting metrics, workforce trends, and market data to manage pipelines, improve outcomes, and inform hiring strategies.
- Represent LMCU at career fairs, networking events, campus recruiting activities, and community outreach events.
- Partner with Marketing and HR stakeholders to strengthen LMCU’s employer brand and promote employment opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, the candidate and hiring manager experience, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
- Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence by fostering strong partnerships, promoting collaboration across teams, and delivering a high level of service to candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
What you’ll bring
- Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, candidate assessment, and hiring manager partnership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting across multiple business functions and job families.
- Experience developing proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and recruitment best practices.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR technology, recruiting metrics, and market data to manage pipelines and support hiring decisions; Workday experience preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, consultation, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
