Position Profile: The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified talent across corporate, technical, and manufacturing departments at The Prestwick Companies. This position drives full-lifecycle recruitment, builds talent pipelines, manages applicant tracking, and delivers a positive candidate experience that aligns with company culture and growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment processes including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, conducting interviews as needed, and partnering with leadership to extend job offers.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify department needs, define candidate profiles, and establish hiring expectations.
- Proactively source pipelines of candidates through job boards, social media, industry networking, and employee referral programs.
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring regular updates on candidate stages and key hiring metrics.
- Ensure all job postings and the hiring processes are compliant with the company’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
- Represent the company at community job fairs, college recruitment events, and local trade shows to expand brand awareness.
- Engage in continuous improvement of interview guides, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience).
- 2 to 5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally within a corporate or manufacturing/operations environment.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job search platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal relationship-building capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
- High degree of discretion, professional judgment, and confidentiality.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Frequently required to talk, hear, sit, twist, use hands/fingers to push, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Frequently walk onto the manufacturing floor and wear PPE as required.
- Position operates primarily in an office setting with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
- Travel as required for business needs and recruitment events.
