As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in sourcing top tier talent and transforming applicants into valued team members. You'll serve as an ambassador of our organization, a culture champion, and a trusted advisor to both candidates and our internal team members in our Prepared Foods business unit.

In your day-to-day, you will act as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and lead the following activities:

Recruitment Strategy & Client Relationships Management

  • Create and lead effective sourcing strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of various roles within the organization.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand and fulfill recruitment needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment matters.
  • Manage the entire recruiting process from initial sourcing to extending offers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Utilize web-based applicant tracking systems and other sourcing tools to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management when needed.

Process Improvement, Reporting, and Documentation

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation within the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance and facilitate reporting.
  • Partner with Lead to identify opportunities for process improvements within the recruiting function.

Problem-Solving & Mentorship

  • Independently resolve complex recruitment-related issues, leveraging experience and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

To succeed in this role you will need the following requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience: 3 plus years’ experience preferable in the field of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition with at least 1 year of experience with sourcing and full-life cycle recruiting process preferred.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems. LinkedIn sourcing experience preferred.
  • Travel: 1-5 trips for recruiting events as needed.
