What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
- Create, coordinate, and lead recruiting events within targeted hiring territories.
- Represent the company at recruiting, career, community, and industry events to attract talent, build candidate pipelines, and educate prospective candidates about career opportunities.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates for our company.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for our high-volume vessel and shoreside hourly positions, from attraction, sourcing to onboarding.
- Play a crucial role in shaping ACBL's talent acquisition strategy and fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
What we are looking for...
You will need to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment methods and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Even better if you have one or more of the following
- Previous experience in staffing and sales or maritime industry.
- Brand ambassador on social media platforms as well as networking in local areas.
