Summary of Position
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-lifecycle recruitment across multiple business units, executing proactive candidate sourcing strategies and managing multi-stage hiring processes to secure top-tier talent. Serving as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, the role oversees primarily recruitment and key onboarding initiatives to drive continuous workforce growth. Through process optimization and employer branding, this position elevates the overall candidate experience meeting our organizational hiring goals.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Drive the full-lifecycle recruitment process for high-volume, and specialized positions across multiple departments.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, establish selection criteria, align on market availability, and serve as a trusted hiring advisor throughout the candidate lifecycle.
- Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter and professional networking to attract high-caliber active and/or passive talent for all roles.
- Perform structured pre-screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, cultural alignment, career motivations, and overall fit prior to recommending candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate multi-stage interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear communication, timely feedback loops, and a high-touch candidate experience.
- Negotiate compensation, extend formal job offers, and oversee pre-employment screening processes (background checks, drug testing) to ensure compliance and seamless transitions into onboarding.
- Build and manage relationships with external staffing agencies, networks, diversity organizations, and specialized industry platforms.
- Support employer branding initiatives on digital channels, careers pages, and job boards to elevate brand visibility and attract top-tier talent.
- Deliver high-quality New Hire Orientation sessions and partner with the Human Capital team on cross-functional HR initiatives, retention projects, and employee engagement activities.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks to continuously improve recruitment operations, while providing informal guidance and mentoring to junior HR/recruiting staff.
- Lead or contribute to special Talent Acquisition and Human Capital initiatives as assigned.
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
- Performs other projects, functions, and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR (or equivalent experience) + five plus (5+) years of recruiting experience (banking preferred).
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent written and oral communication).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS platforms (ADP preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HR administration, labor laws, employment compliance, and basic HR workflows (benefits/payroll).
- Executive-level interpersonal skills, high adaptability, strong attention to detail, proactive multi-tasking, and ethical integrity.
