Help Us Build the Team That Keeps America Moving!

At National Fleet Management (NFM), our people are the driving force behind our success. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of our recruiting efforts across multiple locations.

We're looking for someone who knows recruiting inside and out—someone who can jump in, quickly understand our business, build strong candidate pipelines, and confidently manage the hiring process with minimal oversight.

If you're a proactive recruiter who enjoys finding great talent, building relationships, and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Independently manage recruiting from job posting and candidate sourcing through offer acceptance and transition to onboarding.
  • Recruit for a variety of positions, including diesel technicians, service advisors, parts professionals, administrative staff, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, establish hiring priorities, and develop effective recruitment plans.
  • Proactively source and engage qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines and ensure timely follow-up.

Build Talent Pipelines & Recruiting Partnerships

  • Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical and skilled-trade positions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with trade schools, technical colleges, workforce development programs, and industry organizations.
  • Identify new opportunities to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Support employee referral initiatives, recruiting events, and employer branding efforts.

Own Recruiting Performance & Improvements

  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, applicant flow, and hiring outcomes.
  • Evaluate job posting performance and make recommendations to improve candidate quality and recruitment efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and provide regular recruiting updates to leadership.
  • Identify recruiting challenges early and proactively develop solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager communication.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success independently managing multiple open positions.
  • Proven ability to proactively source qualified candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting processes, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring best practices.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and managing competing recruitment priorities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative without constant direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing, multi-location organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruiting experience in skilled trades, transportation, automotive, diesel, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume or hard-to-fill positions.
  • Established relationships with trade schools or workforce development organizations.
  • Experience using recruiting data and metrics to improve hiring outcomes.
