Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment in high volume atmosphere. Partners with hiring managers to identify staffing objectives and develop sourcing strategies for current and future direct hire needs. Works with applicants to ensure a positive candidate experience. Responsible for sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, evaluating and identifying qualified candidates. Assist with the development of recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants to fill specific job openings. Must have diverse experience in sourcing strategies to include: social media platforms, job boards, data mining techniques, job fairs, referrals, networking while continually identifying new pipelines through research.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage the full cycle recruiting process for high-volume positions, including sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, final selection, and salary negotiation.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
Communicate job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation, benefits, and career advancement opportunities to candidates.
Prepares and extends job offers; notify candidates of selection decisions, including rejections.
Manage a high-volume workload with competing and shifting priorities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Maintains recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline, and requisition status.
Provides high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Identifies opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
Utilize traditional and non-traditional recruitment resources, such as job boards, career fairs, social media, community networking events, etc., to identify and attract qualified candidates.
Assist in the development and execution of advertising strategies, both internal and external, to increase visibility with potential candidates.
Manage the internal transfer process, including candidate screening, interview coordination, preparing transfer offers, and initiating workflow changes in the HRIS.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, applicant, compensation, and organizational information.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and a variety of sourcing techniques, including social media, networking, job boards, and recruitment marketing. Experience using AI-powered recruiting and sourcing tools to enhance candidate sourcing, screening, outreach, and recruiting efficiency. Must have prior experience working in large, complex, and diverse organizations and knowledge of employment laws and employment best practices.
Computer Skills
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), virtual interviewing platforms, and online recruiting resources. Ability to generate recruiting reports and maintain accurate recruiting data.
Age Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
