Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a driven, hardworking, and highly-motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at American Place Casino. This role owns execution of recruitment strategy and full-cycle staffing property-wide, from workforce planning through offer acceptance, and will be a key driver of our talent pipeline as we grow. Reporting to the Director of HR, this role works closely with property hiring managers to shape recruitment strategy for their teams' unique staffing needs and partners with the HR Manager to ensure a seamless handoff of new team members.

What is Expected of You

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of HR Recruiters
  • Partner with the Director of HR to develop the property's overarching talent acquisition strategy, and own execution of that strategy day-to-day, including workforce planning for large-scale/mass hiring as we scale
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders on staffing needs and role requirements
  • Train and equip hiring managers on interview best practices, including structured interviewing and consistent evaluation criteria
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for all property positions, from requisition through offer, ensuring a strong and diverse candidate pipeline
  • Build and maintain community partnerships (schools, workforce development organizations, local groups) to establish long-term talent pipelines
  • Manage relationships with job boards, staffing agencies, and hiring events; build out and maintain recruiting SOPs
  • Partner with Brand Marketing on employer branding and social media strategy to attract talent and promote the property as an employer of choice
  • Plan and execute recruitment/hiring events, managing logistics, promotion, and follow-up
  • Own the ATS and recruiting modules within UKG, ensuring accurate requisition and candidate data
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget and report on recruiting metrics to inform strategy
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment law
  • Partner with the HR Manager for a seamless handoff of candidates from offer acceptance into IGB licensing, onboarding, and orientation
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned to help meet company goals

Experience You Will Need

  • 3–5 years of progressive recruiting/talent acquisition experience, including 1–2 years in a direct people management or supervisory capacity
  • High-volume/mass hiring experience strongly preferred; experience developing talent acquisition strategy (not just filling requisitions)
  • Comfort with social media/digital recruitment marketing
  • Experience building community partnerships and managing a recruitment budget/reporting on ROI
  • Thorough knowledge of employment law as it relates to hiring, EEO requirements, and background checks
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred; Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
  • Proficient in ATS and HR systems, UKG a plus; strong communicator with sound judgment and discretion
  • Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sit, use close/computer vision, and perform repetitive hand/wrist motion
  • Frequently speak, hear, read, and write to communicate with team members, leadership, and candidates
  • Frequently stand and walk throughout the property or recruitment events
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.

  • Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations

Salary Range

  • $85,000-$135,000
