Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the recruitment strategy and hiring process across the Milwaukee Bucks organization, including Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin Herd, and related business entities. This position partners closely with leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

In addition to talent acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager owns the organization's onboarding program and internship program, ensuring new hires and interns experience a seamless transition into the organization. This role is responsible for building talent pipelines, strengthening the employer brand, creating exceptional candidate and employee experiences, and developing programs that support long-term organizational success.

The ideal candidate is a strategic talent advisor who combines hand on recruitment expertise with a passion for employee experience, early career talent development, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt, non-exempt, part-time, seasonal, and leadership positions.
  • Consult with hiring managers on job requirements, candidate profiles, interview strategies, and hiring decisions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, universities, professional organizations, and community groups.
  • Oversee the interview and selection process to ensure consistency, compliance, and a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting on hiring activity, time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and recruitment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal hiring policies.
  • Own and continuously improve the organization's onboarding program from offer acceptance through new hire integration.
  • Partner with leaders and key stakeholders to create a welcoming, engaging, and consistent onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, communications, resources, and orientation programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the new hire experience and accelerate employee productivity and engagement.
  • Own the organization's internship program, including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and program evaluation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create impactful internship assignments and learning opportunities.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives throughout the employment lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive talent acquisition, recruiting, or talent management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading full-cycle recruiting across a variety of business functions and position levels.
  • Experience designing, managing, or enhancing onboarding, internship, university recruiting, or early career programs.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and talent analytics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making.
