Why Epicured?

Epicured is on a mission to combat and prevent chronic disease, translating scientific research into high-quality food products for patients nationwide. Our evidence-based approach brings the best of the clinical and culinary worlds together to help people eat better, feel better, and live better one meal at a time.

By joining our team, you’ll contribute to meaningful initiatives at the intersection of food, healthcare, and technology — helping to improve access, reduce complexity, and directly impact the lives of people managing chronic health conditions.

About the Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful, hands-on Talent Acquisition Manager to own recruiting for our corporate and Customer Experience/Social Care teams. You’ll run searches end to end, partner closely with hiring managers, and bring care and rigor to every step of the candidate experience. You’ll also be a go-to resource for our production and warehouse facilities in Staten Island and Long Island, advising on where and how we post roles and how we describe them, while site leaders manage day-to-day hourly hiring. Working closely with our SVP of People, you’ll help build Epicured’s reputation as a great place to work, including by representing us at the community events where we already show up.

What You’ll Do

Corporate and Customer Experience recruiting

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for corporate and Customer Experience/Social Care roles – intake, job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and a smooth handoff to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define what each role really needs, build structured interview plans, and keep searches moving with clear timelines and communication.
  • Manage steady, higher-volume hiring for our Customer Experience and Social Care teams, including remote roles across multiple states.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate hiring needs, prioritize searches, and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively source for specialized and hard-to-fill roles rather than relying on inbound applicants alone.
  • Deliver a candidate experience that is timely, respectful, and reflects our mission – including for candidates we don’t hire.

Production and warehouse hiring support

  • Advise site HR and operations leaders in Staten Island and Long Island on recruiting approach: which job boards, community organizations, and local channels to use, and what posting copy will resonate with the workers we want to reach.
  • Create simple, reusable tools (posting templates, channel guides, screening questions) that sites can run with on their own.

Employer brand and community outreach

  • Attend Epicured events as a recruiting and brand presence: talk with attendees about working here, capture interest, and build talent pipelines.
  • Identify and test new outreach channels, such as career fairs, workforce development organizations, and schools with programs tied to our work (e.g., culinary arts, nutrition and dietetics, food science, public health, social work).
  • Keep our careers page, job postings, and LinkedIn presence accurate, consistent, and compelling.

Process, data, and compliance

  • Manage and optimize our applicant tracking system and job board, and keep candidate data clean and current.
  • Establish consistent hiring practices and accountability across departments.Partner with the People team to develop scorecards and interview training.
  • Track a focused set of recruiting metrics (e.g., time to fill, source of hire, offer acceptance) and use them to recommend improvements.
  • Ensure postings and hiring practices comply with applicable laws, including New York pay transparency and NYC Fair Chance Act requirements.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including professional/corporate roles; startup or high-growth experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for customer service, contact center, care coordination, or other higher-volume roles.
  • Comfort representing a company in person at events, career fairs, and community settings, and building relationships with schools and community partners.
  • Sound judgment and a thoughtful approach: you ask good questions, weigh tradeoffs, and know when to raise an issue.
  • Comfort using data to understand what’s working; proficiency with applicant tracking systems and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates at all levels.
  • Commitment to fair, consistent, and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Ability to travel locally to our Staten Island and Long Island facilities and to events, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $100,000 – $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Benefits include

  • 401(k)
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Product discounts
