Position Scope

The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team with recruiting, candidate coordination, sourcing, career fairs, and other talent-related initiatives across the organization. This position provides hands-on exposure to the full recruiting process and an opportunity to learn how Talent Acquisition partners with hiring managers and leadership to identify and attract talent.

The intern will work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams while gaining experience in recruiting operations, candidate communication, employer branding, recruiting technology, and workforce planning.

Location & Travel: This is onsite in our West Fargo, ND office.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with day-to-day recruiting activities across the organization.
  • Assist with reviewing and organizing applications and identifying candidates who may be a good fit for open positions.
  • Assist with candidate screening and communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Assist with coordinating candidate travel and interview logistics when needed.
  • Support career fairs, college recruiting events, networking events, and other talent acquisition activities.
  • Help develop and maintain candidate pipelines through sourcing activities, including LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms.
  • Assist with researching potential candidates, schools, organizations, and other talent sources.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with preparing recruiting reports, tracking candidate activity, and maintaining recruiting data.
  • Support the development of recruiting materials, job postings, career fair materials, and employer branding content.
  • Assist with candidate communication, follow-up, and maintaining positive candidate experiences.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Gain exposure to hiring manager intake meetings, recruiting strategy discussions, and workforce planning activities.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and new-hire activities as needed.
  • Participate in HR and Talent Acquisition projects and other cross-functional initiatives.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or associates degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous internship, work, or volunteer experience in HR, recruiting, customer service, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or a related field.
