Finatal are hiring for a US Talent Acquisition Consultant!
Location: New York (preferred) / Remote East Coast

Business: Finatal US
Compensation: $70,000-100,000 dependent on experience, plus performance bonus.

Finatal is the leading private capital specialist recruitment business, partnering with private equity funds, portfolio companies and high-growth businesses across finance, transformation, technology and executive leadership.
Following strong growth in the US market, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to help attract, assess and hire exceptional recruitment consultants and support staff into our expanding US business.
This is a hands-on recruitment role focused on finding outstanding talent for Finatal itself. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping us scale our US operation while maintaining the high-performance culture and quality standards that have underpinned Finatal's success.
What are the key responsibilities?
Talent Attraction
- Build and execute recruitment strategies for all US hiring needs.
- Source high-calibre recruitment consultants from competitor firms and adjacent talent markets.
- Develop active talent pipelines across:
- Recruitment consultants
- Delivery consultants
- Principal and Director-level recruiters
- Business support functions
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking and direct market mapping to identify talent.
Candidate Management
- Own candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Conduct initial screening and competency interviews.
- Manage candidate communications and feedback processes.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
Market Intelligence
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the US recruitment and executive search market.
- Track competitor hiring activity, compensation benchmarks and talent trends.
- Provide regular hiring insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Employer Branding
- Help position Finatal as an employer of choice within the recruitment sector.
- Support recruitment marketing initiatives and social media campaigns.
- Create compelling content to attract prospective employees.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with business leaders across the US operation.
- Challenge hiring briefs and advise on talent strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Track recruitment KPIs including:
- Time to hire
- Offer acceptance rate
- Source effectiveness
- Diversity metrics
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and workflows.
- Support implementation of talent acquisition systems and automation tools.
Who are we looking for?
Essential Experience
- 2-5 years' recruitment experience, either:
- Internal talent acquisition, or
- Agency recruitment/executive search.
- Proven success sourcing and hiring high-performing professionals.
- Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capability.
- Experience running multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
Desirable Experience
- Experience recruiting recruiters (R2R).
- Experience within professional services, executive search or private capital recruitment.
- Exposure to high-growth or private equity-backed businesses.
- Familiarity with ATS and CRM systems.
