Purpose of the Position
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Talent Acquisition & Team Building Manager to lead and support the human resources function for a growing parking and hospitality services company. This role will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, managers, and frontline employees across our parking operations, valet services, hospitality teams, and corporate functions. The Talent Acquisition & Team Building Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations while helping build a strong, service-oriented culture. This position will be responsible for client and employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, training, benefits administration, HR policies, and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment with a diverse workforce that may include hourly employees, supervisors, managers, and corporate staff. Experience in parking, hospitality, transportation, retail, facilities, or another high-volume service environment is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as a trusted HR resource to employees and leadership.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
- Promote a positive, respectful, inclusive, and customer-focused culture.
- Conduct employee investigations and coach managers on communication and performance management.
- Develop initiatives to improve engagement, morale, recognition, and retention.
Recruiting & Staffing
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for hourly, supervisory, management, and corporate positions.
- Partner with operations to forecast staffing needs and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Develop recruiting strategies and community/talent pipeline partnerships.
- Oversee interviews, background checks, offers, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.
- Monitor hiring and turnover metrics and recommend retention strategies.
Onboarding, Training & Performance
- Oversee new-hire onboarding, required documentation, training, and certifications.
- Partner with operations on customer service, safety, leadership, and company training programs.
- Manage the performance review process and coach managers on feedback, documentation, and corrective action.
- Support performance improvement plans, career development, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Oversee HR recruiters.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and reporting requirements.
- Maintain employee handbooks, policies, procedures, and HR forms.
- Partner with payroll and accounting to resolve payroll and timekeeping issues.
- Support benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and leave administration.
Benefits & ACA Compliance
- Manage benefits administration for a primarily hourly and variable-hour workforce.
- Monitor ACA eligibility, measurement/stability periods, waiting periods, and employee hours.
- Partner with payroll, HRIS, brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate eligibility, deductions, and reporting.
- Reconcile benefits and payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee annual ACA reporting, including Forms 1094-C and 1095-C.
- Assist employees with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits questions.
Workforce & Operational Support
- Partner with parking and hospitality operations across multiple locations and shifts.
- Ensure consistent HR practices across all company locations.
- Analyze turnover, absenteeism, staffing, hiring, and engagement data.
- Provide leadership with HR reporting, recommendations, and workforce insights.
- Support organizational growth, new locations, restructuring, and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 7+ years of Human Resources Experience.
- Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Payroll/HRIS systems experience, ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Experience in parking, hospitality, transportation, retail, facilities, or another high-volume service environment preferred.
- Some weekend availability required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm—some weekend availability required. General office setting environment.
