Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition & HR Programs Specialist will manage the day-to-day recruiting process and support related HR programs, including onboarding, training administration, and the summer internship program. This role will partner with hiring managers to help fill open positions, coordinate candidate activity, track requisition status, and ensure a consistent recruiting and onboarding experience. The role will also support learning and development efforts by coordinating training resources, maintaining program timelines, and helping move HR initiatives forward.
Core Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the recruiting process for open roles, including intake discussions, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and status tracking.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide process guidance, and help move searches forward.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn and other approved recruiting channels.
- Coordinate with external recruiters when needed and approved for niche or senior-level roles.
- Track each open requisition and provide regular updates to HR leadership and hiring managers.
- Support offer, pre-employment, onboarding, and new hire documentation processes.
- Lead new hire orientation and ensure required paperwork is completed and maintained in ADP.
- Support consistent and inclusive recruiting practices throughout the hiring process.
Learning & Development
- Administer learning and development programs and help ensure training initiatives stay on track.
- Coordinate LinkedIn Learning content and other training resources for team members and managers.
- Assist with scheduling, communication, tracking, and follow-up for training programs.
- Maintain training materials, participation records, and related reporting.
- Support employee development and engagement initiatives as needed.
Summer Internship Program
- Recruit summer interns in partnership with business managers, including confirming intern needs, posting roles, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting selections.
- Coordinate the summer internship program, including planning, scheduling, communications, and onboarding support.
- Help organize intern activities, check-ins, and program feedback.
Support the overall execution of the program from recruiting through completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, talent engagement, or a related HR role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on open items.
- Experience coordinating recruiting processes, interviews, onboarding activities, or HR programs.
- Comfortable using HRIS, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and related platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
