What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: intake with hiring managers, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across clinical, direct support, and administrative roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft accurate, compelling job postings.
- Conduct initial phone screens, behavioral interviews, and coordinate Manager interview logistics.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer-acceptance rate) to inform ongoing strategy.
Recruitment Strategy Development
- Contribute to the design of a new, modernized recruitment strategy for IAHD, including sourcing channels, employer branding, and candidate experience.
- Enhance utilization of Paycom applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Research and recommend best practices in recruitment for the intellectual/developmental disability services sector and comparable industries.
- Develop standardized recruitment workflows, templates, and interview guides to improve consistency and reduce time-to-fill.
Onboarding
- Own the new hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, credentialing, compliance documentation) in partnership with relevant departments.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure consistent and welcoming onboarding experience across all roles and locations.
- Gather onboarding feedback and continuously improve the process.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience; bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
Experience & Skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and working knowledge of record-keeping.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable and insured vehicle required
- Knowledge of government regulations & legal requirements pertaining to Human Resources or similar regulatory environment
- Ability to utilize and learn new technology learn new technology platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Location: Westchester County, will be required to visit all IAHD as necessary
Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
