We are looking for an energetic, organized, and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialistto join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, identifying talented candidates, and helping create a positive candidate experience.
In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process while partnering closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. You’ll also have the opportunity to support employer branding, social media recruiting, community outreach, and career events.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing through interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, schools, professional organizations, and other recruiting channels.
- Review applications, conduct candidate screenings and interviews, and identify qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and maintain clear communication throughout the hiring process.
- Provide a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Complete background checks, reference checks, and credential verification.
- Prepare employment offers and assist with the onboarding process.
- Develop creative social media recruiting campaigns to increase candidate engagement and strengthen our employer brand.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career fairs, networking events, and community outreach opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, professional organizations, community partners, and other talent sources.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting information within the ATS/HRIS.
- Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and open positions and provide updates to leadership.
- Stay informed about recruiting trends, employment practices, and applicable HR policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; healthcare recruiting experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recruiting, HR processes, and employment practices.
- Comfortable using social media for recruiting and professional networking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS/HRIS systems.
- Paycom experience preferred, but not required.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented approach.
