Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference coordination, and offer coordination
  • Ensure timely and effective hiring across all departments and levels in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate subsequent interviews with hiring managers and leadership
  • Identify and leverage effective recruiting channels, including local, national, and specialized platforms
  • Maintain relationships with prospective candidates and support ongoing workforce planning efforts.

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements, candidate qualifications, and recruitment priorities
  • Provide guidance and support on interview practices, candidate evaluation, and consistent selection processes
  • Develop and maintain interview guides, evaluation tools, and recruitment resources

Candidate Experience and Pacific Quest Brand

  • Ensure a responsive, professional, and engaging experience for all candidates
  • Represent Pacific Quest authentically, communicating our mission, culture, and expectations clearly
  • Support the development and ongoing improvement of job postings, recruitment materials, and employer branding initiatives
  • Participate in career fairs, community outreach, and other recruitment activities as needed
  • Collaborate with the Outreach and Marketing Departments to support employer branding, recruitment messaging, and initiatives that strengthen Pacific Quest visibility and reputation as an employer of choice

Onboarding, Training and Employee Development

  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support a consistent, organized new-hire experience from offer acceptance through the initial stages of employment
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation, required training, and pre-employment requirements
  • Assist with employee orientation, training coordination, and assist with tracking of required training and certifications

Employee Engagement, Retention and Organizational Culture

  • Coordinate and evaluate employee engagement and retention initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, strengthen organizational culture, and support Pacific Quest's strategic workforce goals
  • Support employee recognition, appreciation events, celebrations, and other organizational culture initiatives.

HR Operations and Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within the applicant tracking system
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct audits of sourcing channels, job postings, and hiring workflows
  • Support HR processes related to employee status changes, job transitions, separations, and other employment-related documentation
  • Assist with tracking employee credentials, required training, background checks, and other employment compliance requirements
  • Help maintain and organize HR policies, procedures, forms, and other internal resources.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries or direct questions to the appropriate HR resource when additional guidance is needed

Additional Duties

  • Assist with HR projects, organizational initiatives, and special assignments as directed by the Human Resource Team
  • Provide cross-functional administrative support for HR initiatives and organizational needs, as appropriate to the role

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence hiring decisions
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, IOS, and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, education, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with recruiting in geographically unique or talent-constrained markets
  • Understanding of trauma-informed environments or residential care settings

Work Hours & Location

  • Full-time, 40+ hours per week. The schedule will require flexibility and will vary based on organizational and recruiting needs, including the needs of candidates and hiring managers.
  • This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of on-site work at Pacific Quest locations and home-based work. Ability to work on-site as needed to support organizational and recruiting needs, while completing other responsibilities remotely.
