Summary/Objective

The Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruiting and onboarding process for assigned positions across the organization. This position partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source and screen qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, initiate onboarding, and guide new employees through their first weeks with the company.

The position serves as the primary point of contact for candidates and new employees and is responsible for creating a professional, consistent, and welcoming employee experience. This role also supports employee communication, HR service delivery, human resources system education, acquisition integration, and selected HR projects.

The successful candidate will understand the recruiting challenges associated with an industrial services environment and will be comfortable recruiting technical, field, operational, professional, and leadership positions across multiple locations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting needs and talent acquisition planning, including managing coaching on best practices.
  • Coordinate with the hiring manager on creating offer letters, scheduling and communicating onboarding requirements, and clearing candidates to start work.
  • Host new employee company and HR orientation along with ensuring successful onboarding
  • Administer the applicant training system, posting and advertising new roles, and maintaining candidate pool on a proactive basis.
  • Deliver HR “customer” service, maintain and improve a positive employee experience
  • Facilitate integration of new employees through acquisition, ensuring a smooth and net positive transition
  • Assist in various HR projects, tasks and technology implementation as needed.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Minimum Qualifications

  • Three or more years of recruiting, onboarding, or human resources experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisition, multiple levels, and competing deadlines.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting candidates rather than solely relying on incoming applications.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system and human resources information systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field employees, managers, executives, and candidates.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and candidate information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving, and acquisition focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple locations and/or states.
  • Familiarity with DISA and/or ADP
  • Experience supporting business acquisitions or employee integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
