Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Analyst, External Workforce & Managed Service Provided (MSP).This position will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.
This TA Analyst serves as an operational subject matter expert responsible for day-to-day governance, operational oversight, analysis, and continuous improvement of Toyota's external workforce and MSP program. The role independently manages complex workforce lifecycle activity, evaluates program and supplier issues, validates data across systems, leads audits and classification reviews, coordinates corrective action, and maintains accurate, audit-ready reporting and standard work.
The position exists to strengthen program execution, workforce visibility, risk management, and scalability as Toyota expands its external workforce operating model. The incumbent is expected to bring prior firsthand external workforce and MSP operations experience and use that expertise to influence stakeholders, recommend program and control improvements, lead automation and technology adoption, and translate workforce data into actionable business recommendations.
This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you’ll be doing
- Serve as the operational lead for assigned MSP and external workforce processes across intake, requisition support, supplier coordination, onboarding, assignment changes, extensions, conversions, offboarding, invoice reconciliation, and complex issue resolution. Monitor program health, resolve exceptions, coordinate corrective actions, escalate material risks, and verify accurate completion across applicable systems.
- Lead workforce audits, data validation, and lifecycle controls. Reconcile worker, manager, supplier, cost center, assignment, end-date, access, and status data; evaluate discrepancies and control gaps; coordinate remediation; maintain evidence; and recommend preventive actions for compliance, access, financial, and business-continuity risks.
- Lead assigned external workforce classification and workforce optimization initiatives, including staff-augmentation versus outsourced-service reviews and SOW-to-contingent-worker conversions. Assess opportunities, coordinate approvals, and dependencies, manage milestones and supplier actions, address implementation risks, and maintain governance documentation and stakeholder updates.
- Function as a program partner to the MSP, suppliers, Procurement/IPSS, Workforce Planning, HR Technology, Accounting & Finance, Legal, HR business partners, Security/Asset teams, and business leaders. Influence adoption of approved processes, facilitate cross-functional decisions, lead operational escalations, and provide subject-matter guidance on external workforce practices.
- Lead process improvement, automation, and technology-enablement initiatives for external workforce operations. Map current state, quantify gaps, identify root causes, design scalable future-state workflows and controls, build or partner on approved solutions, lead testing and adoption, and measure sustained improvements in cycle time, accuracy, risk, rework, and stakeholder effort.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, operational and executive reporting, dashboards, metrics, and program insights. Analyze workforce, supplier, audit, service-level, volume, aging, exception, spend, and data-quality trends; assess business impact; and present risks, root causes, options, and recommendations to program leaders and stakeholders.
What you bring
- 5+ years supporting MSP programs, Workforce Management, Vendor Management, Program Operations, or related functions
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Experience supporting contingent labor, non-employee workforce, supplier management, workforce operations, or workforce governance
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis
- Experience building dashboards, reports, scorecards, or workforce analytics
- Strong process documentation and project management skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
Added bonus if you have
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement or automation initiatives
- Proven ability to translate findings into decisions and sustained countermeasures
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with vendor management systems
- Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Lists, Forms, or comparable workflow/reporting tools
- Preferred credentials include CCWP, project management, change management, or automation certification
