Construction Staffing Recruiter
Blueprint Skilled Services | Lakewood, CO

Job Type: Full-time, in-person
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Base Pay: $22-$32 plus commissions

Blueprint Skilled Services is hiring a Construction Staffing Recruiter for our Lakewood office. We are a locally owned temporary staffing company supporting commercial construction projects throughout the Denver metro area, including hospitals, schools, hotels, and multifamily communities.

About the Position

You will recruit, interview, and place carpenters, laborers, electricians, operators, and other construction tradespeople. Your goal is to build lasting relationships with dependable employees and match their skills and availability with our clients' needs.

This is a fast-paced position that requires daily outbound phone calls, consistent follow-up, and strong organization. Construction experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Make daily outbound calls to applicants, available employees, and previous employees.
  • Interview candidates to assess construction experience, skills, qualifications, and availability.
  • Build and maintain a reliable pool of candidates for current and upcoming openings.
  • Coordinate placements and communicate job details and expectations.
  • Follow up regularly with employees to support successful assignments.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and schedule future follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with sales and recruiting teammates to meet staffing needs.
  • Meet recruiting, call activity, and placement goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills over the phone and in person.
  • Confidence making cold calls, introducing yourself, and asking relevant questions.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings, priorities, and follow-ups.
  • A dependable work ethic and a desire to increase earnings through performance.
  • Construction or staffing experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive base pay based on experience, plus uncapped commissions and performance incentives.
