Primary Duties
1.Consults with division leadership in the assessment, development and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies. Collaborates with management to build effective hiring and/or enhance the overall selection and hiring process.
2.Leads recruiting initiatives and leverages networking with educational institutions, placement firms, community referral agencies, professional associations, and other sources in order to target and attract high-potential applicants. Coordinates with key stakeholders for on-campus and off-site recruitment programs to include job fairs, trade shows and networking events.
3.Develops, streamlines, and enhances staffing systems and work processes. Designs and completes employment-related metrics, data queries, and division reports. Compiles data for ad-hoc information requests.
4.Researches, locates and establishes relationships with organizations and recruiting agencies to expand candidate pool.
- Organizes and leads summer internships.
6.Consults with management to assure consistent employment-related policy interpretation and application.
7.Administers division employee and new hire relocations, interpreting policy and serving as liaison with relocation vendor.
8.Keeps abreast of HR-related regulations and trends and makes recommendations to management accordingly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and five years of related experience in talent acquisition; or equivalent.
Communication Skills
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical and other complex concepts to individuals with little or no background in the subject under discussion.
Numeric Skills
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
Computer Skills
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and/or graphics.
Physical Demands
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
Work Conditions
Works in an office environment.
