Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team with recruiting and administrative activities while gaining hands-on experience in the hiring process. This position will provide experience in recruiting, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and talent operations while supporting the team with day-to-day activities.

Functions of the Job
Recruiting Support
- Help source and identify potential candidates through approved job boards and recruiting sources.
- Assist with basic candidate outreach using established templates and guidance from the recruiting team.
- Support interview scheduling and send interview confirmations and reminders.
- Help coordinate communication between candidates, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers.
- Conduct video screens, provide candidate assessments, and recommend viable candidates to hiring managers.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with posting and updating job openings.
- Assist with maintaining timely and professional communication with candidates.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, and other talent attraction activities.
- Assist with preparing recruiting materials and resources.
Administrative Support
- Enter and update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) under the direction of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Assist with maintaining accurate recruiting records and documentation.
- Help organize recruiting files, reports, and other materials.
- Assist with basic recruiting reports and data collection.
- Support scheduling and logistics for Talent team meetings and events.
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, and company information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program; Human Resources, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Previous work, volunteer, campus organization, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable learning new technology and computer systems.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
