Specifically, the Division of Personnel (DOP) is looking for a human resources professional to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team! You will work with a group of creative, talented professionals as we advance modern recruitment practices for OA and the entire state of Missouri! We work hard and with a sense of urgency – we do the important work of helping attract new talent to public service! You will enjoy a rewarding contribution to the greater good while having some fun along the way.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
- Float from one project to another and help where needed. Recruitment seasons are cyclical and require ramp-up and planning times.
- Manage MO Benefits to engage potential job seekers and current State of Missouri team members about the total compensation benefits package.
- Be successful in developing, implementing and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attend events as needed as coverage for recruiters to include colleges/universities, high schools and civic organizations.
- Demonstrate success in managing stakeholder relationships. This position requires working with multiple levels of employees, across the statewide enterprise.
- Be very comfortable with social media. Support developing and sharing content to garner more followers and build excitement.
- Monitor process improvement efforts for Talent Acquisition and Department of Personnel initiatives. Share data and stories through metrics of success.

Minimum Qualifications
Professional skills as those that may be learned through a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or similar field, or three to five years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources. Additional education and/or experience may substitute for these qualifications.

Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment. The Office of Administration will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
