Position Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Skilled Trades & Manufacturing owns a broader agency portfolio and recruiting strategy across multiple sites, bringing seasoned judgment to complex staffing decisions and agency relationships. This role goes beyond day-to-day pipeline management to include mentoring Talent Acquisition Partners, shaping production hiring strategy at a multi-site level, and serving as an escalation point before matters reach the Talent Acquisition Manager. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role is a trusted advisor to Site HR Managers and Operations leaders on staffing strategy and a key partner in driving hiring results, workforce readiness, and agency performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Agency Partnership Leadership
- Own and manage a broader portfolio of staffing agency partnerships across multiple sites.
- Lead agency performance reviews and partnership discussions, bringing recommendations to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for agency issues that Talent Acquisition Partners are unable to resolve independently.
Hiring Strategy
- Design and drive recruiting strategy across a multi-site production portfolio, adapting approach for varying volume, urgency, and role complexity.
- Identify systemic staffing challenges and recommend strategic solutions.
- Analyze hiring metrics, including fill rate, time-to-fill, agency performance, and conversion rates, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Drive accountability for production hiring results and workforce readiness across assigned sites.
Mentorship & Team Support
- Mentor and support Talent Acquisition Partners, sharing best practices on sourcing strategy, agency management, and stakeholder partnership.
- Serve as a resource for complex recruiting and staffing situations.
Site & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with Site HR Managers and Operations leaders on staffing priorities across multiple sites.
- Build strong relationships with supervisors to anticipate workforce needs before they become urgent.
- Support contingent workforce conversion efforts in partnership with the Contingent Workforce Coordinator.
Escalation & Manager Support
- Escalate complex staffing, agency, or workforce issues with well-developed recommendations.
- Support broader talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing staffing agency relationships in a high-volume or production/industrial hiring environment, including contract and performance discussions
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-site requisition strategy and drive decisions with limited oversight
- Strong analytical skills, with experience translating hiring data into strategic recommendations
- Experience mentoring or informally guiding less-tenured recruiters or specialists
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across HR, site leadership, and agency partners
- Ability to work onsite full-time in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent recruiting experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
- Experience with Workday Recruiting or comparable ATS preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred
