Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - Costa Rica

This role is Hybrid, Costa Rica

Cornerstone is opening a new location in Costa Rica, and we’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to play a key role in building our presence from the ground up.

As one of our first hires in Costa Rica, you will help establish the foundation for how we attract, hire, and engage talent in the region. This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines strong recruiting expertise with deep knowledge of the Costa Rica talent market, operational experience, and a builder mindset.

You’ll be both strategic and hands-on—personally managing critical searches while also helping lead our broader recruiting efforts in Costa Rica, including managing local recruiting resources and partners such as an RPO. You’ll work closely with business leaders to understand the capabilities they need, assess the skills and talent available in the local market, and develop creative solutions when the two don’t perfectly align.

You’ll also play an important role in helping establish our culture in Costa Rica and creating a strong experience for the employees who join us during this exciting stage of our journey.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner supporting the opening and growth of Cornerstone’s new Costa Rica location.
Manage full-cycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of roles, with an initial focus on G&A, Customer Support, Professional Services, and other business functions.
Provide recruiting support for roles in the U.S. and other global locations as business needs and priorities require.
Lead searches for senior and executive-level positions as needed.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, define the skills required for success, and provide insight into the talent and capabilities available in the Costa Rica market.
Use market intelligence and a solutions-oriented approach to help leaders adjust talent strategies, identify transferable skills, and explore alternative talent pools when needed.
Provide expertise on the Costa Rica talent market, particularly the technology and multinational employer landscape.
Manage and provide direction to local recruiting resources and external partners, including RPO support, to ensure quality, consistency, speed, and a strong candidate and hiring-manager experience.
Help establish scalable recruiting processes, operating rhythms, reporting, and best practices as we build the Costa Rica organization.
Partner across Talent Acquisition, People, Finance, Legal, and other functions to support the operational requirements of opening a new location.
Help navigate the Talent Acquisition complexities associated with beginning operations through an Employer of Record (EOR) and transitioning to our local entity and office following establishment of our Free Trade Zone (FTZ) structure.
Help establish Cornerstone’s employer brand and talent presence in Costa Rica.
Serve as a culture carrier and help establish the foundation for how our Costa Rica team operates, collaborates, and grows.

What We’re Looking For

6+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years within a technology company.
Strong knowledge of the Costa Rica talent market, particularly the technology and multinational employer landscape.
Experience recruiting across G&A, Customer Support, Professional Services, and related functions.
Experience leading executive and senior-level searches.
Demonstrated ability to operate as both a hands-on recruiter and a recruiting leader, including experience managing or providing direction to RPOs, agencies, contractors, or other recruiting resources.
Strong talent advisory skills and the ability to use market intelligence to help hiring managers develop realistic and effective talent strategies.
Experience helping build or scale recruiting processes and operations in a new or rapidly growing environment.
Strong Talent Acquisition operations knowledge, including recruiting processes, technology, reporting, vendors, and compliance.
Experience supporting an EOR, new-country launch, entity transition, FTZ environment, or similar international expansion is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a build environment where priorities will evolve as the organization grows.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence leaders across functions and levels.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
